Spring has seemingly sprung early this year. Hopefully we won’t have anymore freezes.
We have quite a few new gardens who have signed up for allotments at the new Bergstrom Community Gardens (BCG). The garden allotments are seeing the first plantings and it’s very exciting. These gardens are open to all area residents. We have a man that lives in the Agave subdivision who has enthusiastically joined in on the bed prep and his own plantings.
If you’re interested in securing a lot, let us know. Read the Handbook and Apply for your plot before they’re all rented.
The Founders section has gotten off to a great start with their beds. And Phase 1 beds are making progress. We need volunteers to help plan, plant and maintain. It’s a great way to start developing your gardening skills.
Join us for garden club the 2nd Wednesday of the month to learn more.
The bird club is always looking for volunteers and donations.
